I'm a graduate from the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education at the University of Toronto, Canada.
I was diagnosed with severe Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis when I was 11 years old. Since the initial diagnosis, I've had countless meetings with physicians, I've worn a back-brace, and I've managed to live a fairly normal life. By my choice, on May 23, 2019, I underwent Spinal Fusion surgery to correct my spinal curves, and to prevent them from worsening.
I've decided to create this blog to support others who have been either directly or indirectly affected by Scoliosis, with the overreaching goal of educating the public by my personal journey.
